The BBA, Brilliant Book Awards, is being run by a group of Surrey schools. The aim is to promote new authors and encourage reading for pleasure. The list also aspires to develop diversity and discussion.

As the Librarian at Holy Trinity School in Guildford, I had run shadowing groups for the Awesome Book Award. As the ABA is not currently running I started this project to fill the gap.

We are happy to include any school that would like to join in voting for the five shortlisted books
